How To Make Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Equipment:

  • Oven
  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and put in the vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the mixture with flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
  4. Mix in the oats and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets
  6. Bake for 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool at room temperature.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
