How To Make Detox Cream Cheese Cucumber Sandwich

Preparation Times:

Chickpea Sunflower Seed Veggie Burgers

Equipment:

  • Oven
  • Food Processor

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 5 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 cup of oats
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Gluten-free burger buns
  • Chopped cabbage
  • Tomatoes, sliced thinly
  • Ketchup and mustard

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Process your sunflower seeds in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  3. Include all the other patty ingredients and process until mixed well. Add a quick drizzle of olive oil to bind it together.
  4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into patties.
  5. Bake for 18-20 mins, flipping once at the halfway point.
  6. Serve warm in gluten-free buns with cabbage, tomatoes and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard.
