  • Blender
  • Cooking Pot

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons creamy almond butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, optional**
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast, optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 lb dried pasta, cooked to serve

Instructions:

  1. For the sauce: Place all ingredients except for basil and pasta in the jar of a high-speed blender. Purée until completely smooth. Add the basil and turn the blender on low just to distribute.
  2. In a pot of boiling water with salt, cook pasta for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Toss as much sauce as desired with cooked pasta and a little of the starchy cooking water, if needed.
