How To Make Pasta Salad with Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette

Pasta Salad with Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette

Equipment:

  • Cooking pot
  • Small bowl
  • Large bowl

Ingredients:

Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette

  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp basil, chopped
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Pasta Salad

  • 3 cups of rotini pasta
  • 1 broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • lettuce leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, cubed

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta as per the packaging directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the dressing ingredients until well blended. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the salad ingredients and dressing and toss to coat evenly.
